Wat Chork – Just behind the hotel is one of Siem Reap’s most unusual pagodas. Wat Chork features a temple with round stupas which would not look out of place in Myanmar or even as an Islamic Mosque. The local monks take care of stray animals, and this pagoda seems to specialize in cats. It is a lovely place for a quiet stroll immersed in Cambodian culture.
